Get up and go to the trolley but they don't take bills so that means getting quarters form Starbucks and then having ride and change trolleys twice but finally getting there, with WOW a lot of people. Take Nan's picture with a bunch of Buffy action figures and then buy random funny buttons ("Snarky" Heh). Realize that even 5'1" only comes up to Al's Elbow and that Ed is totally screwed. Don't buy Bobby figure yet, figure there will still be plenty tomorrow. OMG. Bruce. Campbell. XD Talk with the same girl from New England Comics. Comment on the smallness of the world and promise to exchange phone numbers later for maybe a hang out time. Realize that another trip to Boston is inevitable. Heh. Snap on last picture of the really good Bender costume. Explain Con to slightly wigged out lady on train. Be thankful for Wookies. Trolleys are fun.

Then there was dinner with [livejournal.com profile] ranalore followed ice cream and now to bed.

Promise actual post tomorrow.

*falls over* Mmm...sleepy.

I got down there waaaaay early and didn't have to stand in line at all. Ended up sitting around on the lobby floor waiting for the doors to open for something like an hour. Apparently pinched a nerve somewhere though because when I stood up my left knee just gave out on me. A nice lady helped me up though and all was fine. Just took a little while to get the feeling back.

When it finally came to me leaving tonight it was because I just couldn't afford to spend any more. I'm going to try and only get the Iceman tomorrow and then anything else I really want can wait until Friday or Saturday, but really? There isn't much besides buttons. And maaaaybe a shirt from Giant Robot. Just based on the principle of the thing.

Nan will also be going with me tomorrow. She's never done anything even remotely fannish before and so this will be a brilliant experience to share. Heh. Oh, the joys of the total immersion fandom experience.

The Con!
