Dec. 16th, 2004 12:31 amA quote, which, I fear describes me perfectly...
Also, a drabble. (For
sariyuki, because she wrote me one. And
karose, because headaches are terrible.)

Summary: Sometimes it’s almost worth it.
His head hurt, and the slowly darkening bruise on his cheek throbbed. It had been stupid to start a fight in the first place, but those guys -- even now it made his stomach churn, anger becoming a physical sensation as the acid in his stomach burned.
“You could have let it go.” Sanzo’s voice was quiet beside him. One hand on the steering wheel, he reached out with the other, sliding his fingers along the bruise, the gesture surprisingly gentle.

[*Edit with smoke coming out of ears* The LJ spell check didn't catch irregardless. I have no words for how dumb that is. IRREGARDLESS ISN'T A WORD PEOPLE! IT'S TOTALLY REDUNDANT! REGARDLESS IS THE WORD YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AND IT WORKS JUST FINE! *takes a deep breath, and looks around suddenly embarrassed* I am so sorry. I'm going to go back to work now. Just ignore the crazy girl in the cubicle.]
