Diego's cd drive stopped working a couple weeks ago. He was in for repairs just before that. Then tonight his power cord stopped working. I currently have a tenuous connection and two fully charged batteries, so should anything happen I've got something like 8hrs of access left.

I need a new computer. Or at least a new power cord. All I have to do is make it to the 15th when I get paid again and I can either say, fuck it, pay my bills and then spend every extra cent on a new computer, or I can be reasonable and just save two paychecks worth of money -- this means no eating out, no buying extra food, no buying extra anything for the next three months and then buying a new computer.

....crapcrapcrap. Okay instant budget.

Things I can buy at The Con:
Season 2 One Piece dvd if it's cheaper than at Rising Sun. (this means less than $40)
Roy action figure if it's less than $20.
Issues of Pirate Club I'm missing (there are only two)
....and that would be it.

Things I can spend money on at Disneyland:
Nothing.

Okay, that's random expenditures for July...Now for August...

Well, the car tune up was supposed to happen then, but since that's this week, I guess August is pretty clear. Okay, so no spending in August. I'll allow myself the monthly slash dinner and that's it.

This needs to be done. I need an Al or a new Diego, and I need one of them now.

Any of you think I could sell Diego for scrap on Craig's List or Ebay?

*flails* Between this and the car and my hands....ArurghaAHA.

Okay. It's out of my system. I'm going to bed now. In the morning I'll get some more done on my yoai challenge fic that I've finally started and all will be right with the world. Seriously. It will.

Hey, I have the One Piece kaisoku's fansubs - starting with 25th episode, anyway, but I can dl the earlier ones. So unless you specifically want the shiny DVDs with extras, I'll mail you the disks.

Dude, that would be the best! And actually I think my dvds that I have right now go through episode 26 or 27. BUT if you wanted to send me 25 anyway that would so rock.

And seriously, dude, the main reason for buying the dvds is that I can watch them on the tv, but also that my internet is waaaaaaaay too slow for me to be able to dl everything. So this? Is only the coolest thing ever. Seriously.

Sugar, all things considered, what say we skip Disneyland this year, and this month's fannish dinner? You ain't got no money, I ain't got no money and this diet would make eating out anywhere problematic. You come down today, we transfer your resume over to Eddy (unless you've got it on Chewbacca, in which case we plug Chewie into Eddy) and get you doing the job hunt and sending out resumes. Then if anybody calls this week, you can schedule interviews on Thursday, which you conveniently already have off.

I'm going to turn Diego off and head out to my parents for a bit. I'm actually going to see if the Apple Store in Fashion Valley is open because if they are I might just go pick up the new power cord -- only $85 or so -- just so that Diego is at least a little functional. *sighs* But yeah, I'll check my email out there at the 'rents so let me know if this sounds like a plan.
