I actually went to college (http://www.kenyon.edu) in Ohio. I miss it. Also miss my friends, some of whom were very excited to hear that I'm currently job hunting. Bug decided the best place to job hunt was Ohio. I told her that if she wanted me to move to Cincinnati with her she had until the her move there (her classes start right after Labour Day) to find me a job. So, she's got 8 weeks. (This would leave two weeks to pack and drive cross country)

The very first fatal mistake was mentioning that I was thinking of moving out of state at all. She's crazy persistent, that girl. *G* And now I'm starting to get excited about it, except... I'd miss SD. It becomes a matter of weighing my options. Weather, Friends and Family vs. Friends, Seasons and Being Able to Afford to Eat.

*headdesks* Being a grown up is wicked tough sometimes.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I miss seasons. But at the same time when I'm not in SD I miss it. I want to be able to put everything all in one place.

And there's still the whole Japan thing.

Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing, but Ohio is a seriously viable option. Or well, as viable as anything I've come up with so far. Heh.

Okay. I'm not gonna question her, but she'd better be VERY DAMN SURE before you go crosscountry. I have been here my whole life. I have *never* had occasion to call this state a good choice for jobhunting, for either dad, mom, brother, aunt, cousins, friends, or myself. Yes, I'm sure certain companies *are* hiring. Just make SURE.

And. 'Cause now that I've read the thread and know that this isn't just a joke:

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* Selfishly? OMG WANT YOU HERE. Seasons!! White Christmases! Fireplaces you *need*!! Fall leaves!! Don't listen to WL, it doesn't reach -18 around Cincinatti only farther north like in Akron X_X !! OMG. That would be so cool.
