Favors to ask...

In no particular order:

1) Is there anyone out there who'd be willing to host my fic? I'll do whatever coding needed and whatnot if you'd let me contribute some small quantity of cash until I get my ass in gear and get my own web space. Please?

2) Does Tatsumi do banter? I mean, he's certainly got that dry thing going on, but the funny? Do we think he can bring the funny?

3) Can anyone out there do a kind of "soccer for dummies" thing for me? Or maybe direct me towards a site that would have the info? Diagrams would be most helpful

Hmmm. Hosting fic? How much space would you need? I could probably talk to Eden about using a corner of akaibox, especially if you'd help pay. You'd certainly be taking up less space and such than my picture-dump basket is, and so my only concern is bandwidth...

Banter? Tatsumi? I think he *could*...depends with whom. Not with Tsuzuki, 'cause poor puppy would miss the jokes. Perhaps with Konoe(sp)? I could definitely see him getting into a vicious banter with Muraki--pre-battle, or whathave you. The one that I can't reconcile in my own mind, however, is Watari. I just don't know whether....^^;; I suppose that depends highly on what you feel their relationship is. If your preference is Tatari, like me, then you might see what I'm saying when I question Tatsumi's ability to be snarky/bantery at Watari. If you're a TaTsu shipper, or writing a backstory fic based when the two of them were still together, then I can definitely see Watari fighting back for his lab funding rights via banter. ^^

Er. Nevermind about the hosting fic bit. ^^; She apparently has Big Plans for the site that I didn't know about, and that she expects will eat up our bandwidth. ^^; Sorry.

Tatsumi bantering... hmm. I suppose the closest I can see him coming to normal banter would be trading snide and subtle threats with Muraki. That said, I'm a Tatari fan, so while I can't really see Tatsumi actively bantering I can see him, by means of the carefully dropped line, raised eyebrow and pointed silence, drawing my favorite scientist to banter at him. Tatsumi can be very amusing indeed, but I think his humor is dry and he tends to assume the role of straight man, albeit with a bit more understanding than Hisoka lends to that part. In short, Tatsumi does know and enjoy a good bit of amusement, but he's not the type to admit it or make it obvious except to those who know him very well. But that's just my opinion. If you write him well enough, and he happens to be funny, it's possible my opinion would change. That's the glory of fanfiction. =)

I could host you. No money required, as I'm using one of slashcity's free accounts, which gives me 10MB of space. I keep thinking of upgrading to a paid one, but I've never used up either my space or bandwidth yet, and I don't think hosting you will put a strain on things until we both start producing a lot more. *G*

Anyway, we can chat about it. Slashcity does have an account that's 50MB and 1 Gig of bandwidth for $24 a year, so that would be a dollar a month from each of us if you wanted to split it. Let me know what you think.

Tatsumi comes close to the banter with Watari and Hisoka on occasion, I think. If he feels fairly confident in the other person's emotional strength, he does seem inclined toward such verbal sparring. And he does bring the funny a few times, in a very dry and understated way.

You already know I am no help when it comes to the soccer thing.

About the soccer....I need everything. I know there's a ball and net, two teams and that the goalie is the only one with hands, but I don't know the number of players on the field or what the positions are called. I certainly don't know the rules. XD

Really, any help at all would be great. Diagrams would be the BEST, but I wouldn't expect you to draw them or anything. Do you think that the main AYSO sites might have something?
