Behold the dreamscape...
Mar. 29th, 2005 09:28 amMmnghn… *bleary eyes* It wasn’t exactly restful sleep I had last night.
I dreamed that my alarm was going off and sending me AIM text. They just sort of scrolled across the front of the clock, all green and faintly glow-y like the usual clock radio numbers. Except, I couldn’t scroll backwards in a conversation, so I was forced to keep reading the words as they went past. Fortunately I didn’t have to type because I could just think things at the clock-IM and it would appear. It’s just, I was tired and I couldn’t go to sleep. See, I was being sent really vital information. Some of it was about my family and some of it was just Nightfall and several other fandom type people saying over and over, “Don’t go to sleep. You can’t go to sleep,” so I didn’t*. More of it though was from all kinds of random people, because someone had gone missing and apparently I was the only one who could find them. Or the only one who could put all the clues together or something.
Then the dream kinda shifted and my alarm really did go off – but I was blessed with a snoozebutton, and it all fit so perfectly into the dream I didn’t even really wake up – and it turns out that something had happened to the U_A kids – kidnapped or something, by some other evil RP contingent – and it was the ikkou who had figured out this crazy way of talking to me through my clock. I felt pretty special that they had the presence of mind to warn me. Of course it also meant that I would have to go out and save them all. And then I realized I was going to be late for work and managed to roll myself out of bed. So I don’t know if I managed to save them or not. Hey, ikkou, are you safe?
In any case, I’d like you all to know, that I’ll save any of you, any of the time, just, let me close my eyes for a little while, okay? I make a better hero when I’m not asleep at the wheel.
*Do you have any idea how disheartening it is to be asleep, dreaming about wanting to sleep, but being forced to stay awake? It’s like I never slept at all. Sometimes my subconscious is just cruel.
ETA: I have the sniffles. Being sick is Not. An. Option. *growls* ... *sniffles* Oh, I'm just pathetic.

Date: 2005-03-29 06:54 pm (UTC)Also...hooray for shiny wings indeed! It was fun to get that vision of my "soul" after writing stuff about angels.
In any case, hope you feel better. Get lotsa vitamin C in ya. OJ is always good...and keep a nice packet of tissues with you at all times.

Date: 2005-03-29 09:31 pm (UTC)Yes indeed, it was a terrible time I had in the clutches of the Evil Organization, but then they fed me beef fajitas and I forgot to be afraid. All is well. (And sleep better tonight! No sickies!)
