So, say you were meeting a new person - blind date, new friend, who knows. And you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are. But you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to ponder over.
What would you put in the box? No cheating - you're not allowed to include things such as links to your livejournal.
1. Photos of Puerto Escondido.
2. A Moleskine.
3. Thomas Merton's, The Way of Chuang Tzu.
4. X-men comics.
5. L.M. Montgomery's, Anne of Green Gables.
6. The chocolate chip cookie recipe.
7. The mix cd in my car.
8. A picture of the Bear playing the flute.
9. A tape of Papa reading P.G. Wodehouse.
10. The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, by Chris Van Allsburg.
11. One of Mama's paintings.
12. A passport application.
[Edit: Lunchtime fortune cookie told me something I already knew. "There is a prospect of a thrilling time ahead for you." Yup. *griiiiiiins* Yup.]
