"No burning beans. Beans are not for burning. Evil sun. Whoever heard of wanting crispy beans? That's just gross. You're s'posed ta cook 'em in a crock pot for like eight hours. Ararararargh."

Translation:

We went to the beach yesterday. This little karot got her shoulders done medium rare. Rune is one burned little bean. She had to come home from work early 'cause she was feeling awful D:

She is now sympathetically watering our plants. Just in case they're dehydrated too. <3

I am going to make her take a tepid shower and then smother her under cool wet washcloths while I make dinner and stuff. Poor burny bean.

Aah! Did I not hijack in June? I am remiss!

But well, my shoulders are okay. Now they're just down to being slightly pink. I didn't really get burned at all - my skin's just dry. Rune, though, is a red little bean. D: But she's being a super tough trooper at work today. And when I go to bring her home I am gonna mommy her to death. Harr.

And we both sunscreened! But I reapplied more than Rune did, and Rune forgot that she hadn't been in the sun all winter. Harumph. Learning experiences for everybody.

Also ooh pancakes. There is a serious lack of breakfastery around here (mainly because I am too chicken to wash the festering dishes this early in the day) so I had to eat yogurt. *siiiiiiigh*

Apparently this is my summer for getting sunburns, though I AM doing better. Much, much better. The whole peeling thing is just ew though. Ew.
