Jail break!
Jul. 1st, 2007 12:52 amFrom near the fish bowl of Mickey: *t-clink!*
Me: ...
Karot: ...
Me: Did he just throw a rock at-- we aren't letting you out so quit throwing rocks at your bowl!
Karot: ...
Karot: XD
Yuh. We have the weirdest fish ever. Apparently Mickey has decided to redecorate his bowl by flinging his little pebbles around. Crazy bastard.
In other news, we accomplished nothing today beyond going to the store for the olive oil we needed to cook dinner and managing to read 3/4 of a novel out loud. I didn't even put on any pants until well after 7:00. Today has been wonderful.
...new icon too. I are sneaky sneaky like a sneaky sneak. In Mexico we train our ninjas from wee.

Date: 2007-07-01 05:07 pm (UTC)I have to agree!
Pets are so odd sometimes. We think they've figured out they look HUGE as long as they hang out in the grass by the backs of their bowls, so they have a grand time stalking through the leaves and the Appearing~ From The Depths, etc.

However, the stopper for the tub is the metal covering the drain, where you press/tilt one side down to hold the water, and press the other down to drain it. One of the turtles must have taken it upon himself to stand on it yesterday, because the water had all drained out. I was going to change their water today anyway, but changing their water out at one in the morning was a very bizarre nighttime activity for me. It's all pretty amusing, though.

Date: 2007-07-03 06:03 am (UTC)'Cause Kevin's a bastard.
Turtles are sneaky sneaky fast. We got our old turtle when dad found it crossing the street. He'd hibernate in the backyard but the dog would dig him up and be like "Look! I found the turtle! He was gettin' away!"
...
Only it was more like "Somebody buried him, guys! D: "
And then dad would have to go back out into the backyard and bury the turtle again.
It was the family-fun wintertime activity.

Date: 2007-07-03 08:01 am (UTC)In other pet news that you might appreciate:
We have a crab in the regular tank. This morning, I found the crab, discolored and being eaten by shrimp. Its color continued to fade through the day as the shrimp gnawed on it.
OH MY GOD, I KILLED THE CRAB!! WORST. PET. SITTER. EVAR!, I thought.
I spent the entire day thinking that I had killed the crab and that the shrimp were evil for eating its remains ... and, also, should I take the body out of the tank now or later?
It was all bad. So, imagine my SURPRISE just now when I saw the crab scuttle by its own remains and hide under the driftwood.
Um. Note to self--this kind of crab sheds its exoskeleton as it grows. And then abandons it.
No words except that it is unbelievably creepy looking.

Date: 2007-07-01 09:30 pm (UTC)Your icon and the commentary makes me giggle!
I am glad that my badass fish has not (yet) learned to throw rocks.
Maybe Tav and I should start reading out loud to each other....

Date: 2007-07-03 06:06 am (UTC)He got a new plant today. We'll see how long it takes before he starts throwing rocks again. Mickey, I mean. Rock-throwy fish.
Also reading out loud is fuuuuun. Sometimes we even do voices. ^____^

Date: 2007-07-03 06:10 am (UTC)One of Alexander's little ferns dislodged from its driftwood and is now floating at the top of the bowl. In the wild, this would send it far, far away to root somewhere new.
Alexander is swimming circles around it to make it move. Good on yer, Alexander. He uses it as camouflage when he goes up for the bubbles. We cleaned his bowl today. He still can't believe he can see out of his bowl.

Date: 2007-07-03 06:12 am (UTC)Kinda makes it funnier. With the whole. Rocks. Thing.
Didn't you know? When Junsu was born, his mama wrote me for some tips. I have been generous with my super secret.
World takeover by cuteness? It's only a matter of time.

Date: 2007-07-05 03:54 pm (UTC)Actually, I think Junsu got all his cute from his dad. Have you seen those clips? His dad is an absolute doll.
Time. Pfft. World takeover by infectious evil is happening as we speak. My boy Changmin's handling the Asian sector.
