Already?
Damn. This weekend was short. I'd growl about it more, but I seeing as how I, for once, actually got to sleep in? Meh, it was cool.
Kid sister came home on Thursday. Good times that. Bear is a force to be reckoned with, so having her around reminds me of how much I need to move out. Which reminds me, I've given myself this week to get the resume in order so I can submit it to the Japan programs. By this time next week it'll be done. I swear.
Christmas shopping done: 85%. Or rather only (if you count that I still have to write my Christmas cards) 38% left to do before the holiday. (yes, grin, laugh. I'll still love you 'cause it was too good pass up :-P)
Got a new position at work this week too. No more data entry for me. Woot. Also got a job offer in Maryland...pays twice what I make now and is in a part of the country I love. Depending on what happens there, Japan may get put on hold.
Current status of my Saiyuki fanfic is...GARGH! Yes. There, I'm exactly there. So from now on, or at least for the next week, I'm taking at least an hour a night, moving little Diego the iBook to the bedroom, and writing sans distractions. Also, there's the fact that a whole story line was born from a dream that
madpinkflamingo had, and now it's eaten my brain. (Damn you Jay and Mike! Shut up new and interesting original characters and storyline!) For those of you who actually care (all like three I'm sure) I'll have some of that posted this week as well -- really, I think it might be good stuff. *sighs* And to top it all off the characters of my novel have come back with a vengence so it's like there are three sets of characters actively fighting for the front of my brain and the control of my fingers on the keyboard (plus several x-men characters who are just waiting for the rest to tire themselves out so they can saunter to the front without getting all sweaty) and, Gah!
Going to bed now before another attack of inspiration hits.
