It's not fair. Usually when a person is sick and work is skipped because of this, there's some sense of "Whew. I think maybe I feel a little better already."

But not today. All I can think about is that I've missed two full days of work and now fail at life.

Stupid defeatist attitude that comes with being sick.

Going to work tomorrow. No. Matter. What. RAR.



...in the mean time I'm going to drink Thera-flu and hope that my stupid stupid fever goes down.

Grr to sickness. What type of sick feeling is it? Please be careful if it has a cough attached to it. My father has been sick for weeks with a really nasty cough, took days off of work to get better (and didn't), and went to see the doctor twice. Finally they diagnosed him with viral pneumonia and explained that it's been going around all over California. With the proper drugs and an oral steroid (Dad was amused that he had a hookah-like experience ... take *that* Young Kids), he's suddenly doing a lot better.

In other news, I've read Of Darkness, Light, and Fire (plus *coughs* three fanfics that were pretty IC) and am on the second of the Blood Series. You're right on all counts. I love these books. *g* Thank you so much for the loan. It's been so nice to just sit in bed, curled up with a cat and a good page-turning fantasy book that's both woman and lgbt friendly.

I'm so glad that you liked the books. Really, really, Huff is one of the best fantasy writers I've found. I'd say more good things, but I think you've heard all about it in person. Heh.

Seriously. I think I'm dying from whatever I've got. Ugh. All I want is to be better. Or at least functional, you know. Hate being sick. Hate hate hate.

We're doing good. Had a few days of rash, most likely from trying chutney again. Note to self: Bad Idea. Much better now.

Well, the fever is gone, which is excellent. The sinus pressure and the cough linger, however, and so it's kinda a toss up as to how I actually feel. Though, in all honestly, not having the fever aches and chills makes all the difference in the world.

Now I just have to decide how I feel about going to work this evening. Ugh.
