So. Um. I know a couple people (Where "people" in this case should be translated to ready [livejournal.com profile] karotsamused and myself) who would very, very much like to get their hands on the manga of Ouran High School Host Club.

If any of you happen to either have it and are willing to share, or happen to know of a place where I might be able to get it, that would be most excellent.

In other news, I recently realized it's been MONTHS since I last did a "State of the Rune" type post and a fair number of you may think I'm dead by now. Hopefully some time today or tomorrow I'll actually pull my brain together enough to post one. In the mean time, have a very short list:

1. Lost job.
2. Found two jobs.
3. Have most wonderful girlfriend ever.
4. Getting up at 3:00am for work teh suckzorz.
5. [livejournal.com profile] karotsamused, [livejournal.com profile] bruisezonherego, [livejournal.com profile] cindelius and I make some seriously kick-ass christmas cookies. Rar.

I work for a very large coffee chain. I'm sure you've heard of them. Kinda like the Walmart of the coffee world. But. Yeah. Store opens at 5:00am, which means the openers have to be there at 4:15. Nnargh.

All of this really only means that now I'm looking for a new part-time job, because the days when I work both jobs (that makes it a day that starts at 3:00am and ends at like 5:30pm) are kinda killing me little bits at a time.

...know any offices that need a part-time minion of some kind? *fail*

For tax season (Feb 15 to Apr 15) Mr. Logovo is looking for someone to do errands and office work, but it's only for 10 hrs a week tops. Pay is good though, 20 dlls nad hour. He has a small office in Normal Heights. Other than that I haven't heard of anything, but I haven't been paying attention. I'll keep my eye out from now on.

What kind of office work have you done? Have you used spreadsheet programs or accounting software of any kind?

Seriously? That would actually be really excellent. Especially that time of year.

And office work wise, I've actually done a fair amount of different stuff. I've done everything from filing, to data entry, to interviewing (did job recruiting for a while, actually). I've even done a fair amount of auditing (federal forms and internal document creation and modification) along with safety training (go OSHA) and the creation of contract letters.

Um. Really, I've just spent a lot of time working HR. Um. Though my BA is in Theatre, and kinda useless, I'm good with public speaking and detail management.

See, the thing is, I left full-time office work because I could feel my soul getting sucked out of my eyeballs. And I LOVE my other part-time job (retail, but for one of the coolest companies I've ever worked for) and now I just need something that I can enjoy a bit but that's actually going to pay enough for me to be able to meet my rent. Sometimes being a grown-up is hard.

Great. I'll send you an e-mail with his number so you can meet, but it sounds pretty good. After I sent the previous comment he asked me to let you know that it is very important that if you commit to this job that you stay the entire two months, because he will have no time to find a replacement during tax season when he is incredibly busy. OK, off I go...

Seriously, thank you. I've got work most of Tuesday, but I'll probably at least be able to give him a call while I'm on my lunch.

Heh, also, if you'd like to give him my actual name, I'll email it to you (though, because I am awesome and did rather forget that I was in comments to start with, so you may have seen it already. Eh heh. ^^;;;)

...he'll get to meet one of your "imaginary friends" for real now. *G*
