5 Things You May Not Know About My Time in School

1. I'd never seen snow until my freshman year of college. It may have been my favorite part of the whole thing.
2. I took Spanish twice in my whole schooling career. And even then it doesn't add up to an entire year.
3. I was one four Mexicans on my college campus. At one point I was one of three.
4. I actually managed to flunk out of college my Junior Year. I petitioned and got back in after a summer and a semester off.
5. My dad, my sister and myself all went to the same elementary school.

5 Things You May Not Know About The Jobs I Have Had

1. Being a lifeguard makes you really, really tan.
2. My parents still don't know that I spent a week in October unemployed.
3. Nothing makes you appreciate windows quite like working in a cubicle.
4. I've had three jobs since I graduated from college and each of them have had fuck all to do with my degree.
5. Making money and fulfillment are two very different things.

1. My first really fannish experience was actually back in 1999. I was on a Saving Private Ryan message board. Met some seriously cool people.
2. Personal goal = meet all of LiveJournal. Live.
3. I totally stalk people's journals. Mostly just because I think you're cool.
4. ...I have maybe a tiny bit of a problem where I troll The Pit.
5. Fandom is how I met my girlfriend. HEH.

5 Things you May Not Know About Where I Live

1. OMG I MISS SEASONS.
2. I live in a townhouse that I adore. However the neighbor cats have apparently decided we're the cool place to hang out because someone wandered in and said hello has night. wtf? XD
3. We do occasionally get frost here in SD. It is much maligned, for it kills my mother's tomatoes.
4. When I was growing up we never got snow days, but sometimes heat days and with far too much frequency smog days.
5. Talking about being homesick doesn't mean SD. It means here.

1. A new bed.
2. The ability to follow through with stuff.
3. NEW CAR DAMNIT ... okay. Yeah. You probably knew that, but it still goes here.
4. Enough money to travel around the world.

1. Again I say, THE PIT.
2. I totally ship Kakashi/Gai if I'm not careful.
3. ...slashing random strangers while out with friends is not totally unheard of. *hide*
4. I have been known to print fic out using company resources so that I could read it at home while lacking 'net access.
5. I have a gmail account exactly four people know about. Of the several hundred email there, 98% are fic or porn.

In other news, my left arm is all weird and tingly from the shoulder down which means that either I'm having nerve trouble again or the weather is going to change. Perhaps a little bit of both. Need to remind myself not to sleep on my left side. Eeesh.
