Ooh, do you have Monk parakeets? There are wild colonies in Chicago and somewhere in New York, and they are the coolest things ever. Or at least, among the coolest.
Is this the first time you've seen them? They normally hang around Lemon Grove, and sometimes La Mesa - I've seen them in my back yard on a number of occasions.
