You're right, though. It's not the end of the world. You'll survive this and be fine and eventually have a car that runs without babying for more than a month at a time. And in the meantime, you've got great friends and family in your corner. And the Girl, of course. For every lemon in life, there's enough sugar around to make a decent lemonade. And if you're really lucky? There's a little bourbon to mix in as well. ;)

Agh, I remember the stress when Tav's previous car kept needing expensive repairs like that. It's just a car and not the end of the world, but it is very difficult. I hope you can work something out to relieve that stress long term, especially if the time has come where a new car might be cheaper than constant repairs.
