Okay. So.

OMG I SLEPT LAST NIGHT AND DIDN'T WAKE UP AT ALL BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:30AM AND 6:00AM.

NO. REALLY. THIS IS REQUIRING OF THE CAPITALS. I FEEL HUMAN AGAIN!*

ALSO, I-- *ahem* Also, I made a mix cd last night. I was thinkin' "Hey, celebrating the Girl's birthday tomorrow. This requires a happily spazzy mix cd!"

...unfortunately I own an inordinate amount of sad bastard music.

Now, this isn't to say that I wasn't able to get my mix done. Oh no, it's done and it is AWESOME. No I didn't totally make the guy next to me in traffic this morning practically bust a gut with my car dancing. But still, I know there's more out there.

So come on! Hit me! You have happy music, you know you do! Share! Give me things to dance to and then browse what other people have to offer. Pick up a little happy of your own!

*Which means I may finally get around to answering some of those comments that have been sitting in my inbox for like... years. Eesh. Sorry guys. This weekend, I promise!

I'm actually looking at my music folder looking for happy dance music and *OMG!* when did this happen that almost every single mp3 I have is mopey emo-like stuff or --- I mean, the happiest group I've come to so far is Placebo!

*shakes head*

I'll just sit over here dressed in black, writing bad poetry.

...I have an entire folder of music labelled "Bouncy". *grins* It's not too full, since I'm still building my music collection back up, but here's some of the better ones:

Hee. There's enough genres and styles in there that hopefully you'll like some of it.

*ka-GLOMP* I'm so happy for you, baby! Does Roy feel smug? Roy should probably feel smug, huh? ^^

I love you so much! *snuggle*

*smiles* Congrats.

I have beaucoup happy, insanely happy, and "dude, turn that shit off, it's ANNOYING"-happy. Also happy in other languages, happy that sticks in your head for two weeks straight despite all your best efforts to the contrary, and lots of snarky-happy.

I do not, however, have TIME in which to YSI. May get around to remedying this this week, while on vacay. Don't count on it. Will find some way to fulfil your request though. T_T

Yay sleep! It be a good thing.

Happy music! I have lots. Which I haven't been listening to lately, what with the wallowing of various kinds, but this got me started on it again and it is of the good. I could rec for days, but after I made a really long list I realized that I know absolutely nothing of your music tastes, and you might already have some/a lot of it. (I can't imagine you haven't heard some of this already...)

No Rain - Blind Melon
Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love - Chorus Line (Broadway cast)
Overture/And All That Jazz - Chicago (movie cast)
Speed of Sound - Coldplay
Gin-Soaked Boy - Divine Comedy
BKAB (Speechless Mix) - Ethan Stoller
Everywhere With Helicopter - Guided By Voices
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish - Joby Talbot
Float On - Modest Mouse
Camelot song - Monty Python
Monty Python's Flying Circus Theme
Philosopher's Drinking Song - Monty Python
It's the End of the World as We Know It - R.E.M.
Animal - R.E.M.
Radio Free Europe - R.E.M.
La Vie Boheme - RENT (Broadway cast)
The Time Warp - Rocky Horror Picture Show (movie cast)
Street Fighting Man - Rolling Stones
Affirmation - Savage Garden
Tank! - Seatbelts
Gotta knock a little harder - Seatbelts
AsK DNA - Seatbelts
Shiroi Yami no Naka - Shakkazombie
Hit Single (open) - Sonny Sharrock
The Pod Dance - Trevor Jones, Dark Crystal score
Cherry Chapstick - Yo La Tengo

And then the big question is whether or not you've heard a lot of U2, because I could seriously rec some U2 songs. Rattle and Hum especially is one of the best albums for crazy fierce joyful top-of-your-lungs music.

I could go on, but... x_X. I can YSI anything you want, too.
