Man, someone else on my flist was O_Oing over icon theft today, too. They found around ten people who took their icon, and one of them absolutely refuses to take it down. At all. It is like...wtf? (Scary part is that the person is NOT a newbie, and that I have friends in common with them.) You have even more a right to be disgruntled since it's your *art* they took, not just borders/text fluff edits. Grr.

If anyone stole my Dik-Dik icon, I would eat them. >:/

It happened to me a few weeks ago, the icon thing, and I was just sort of wtf about the whole thing.

Really though, this rant has nothing to do with my own things being stolen so much as the way that the Japanese fan artists have stuff taken and made into icons and the like All. The. Time. and no one says a thing. It's just annoying that so many people ignore what it says on those fan sites, asking that people NOT take art without permission.

It's a fandom wide thing, but FMA is terrible about it and it kills me.

It's just insane what people do. Someone posted FMA stickers today that had both official and fan art and I was like, "...um. Guys?"
