So I started out trying to do that 500 question meme that [livejournal.com profile] karotsamused did but I got... bored. Those were all questions that I've seen and answered a million times before. But I still want to play, so I've come up with another plan. *points down* This one!

Right, right, I've done it before, but it's still kinda cool. Ask me questions and I'll ask you questions in return! ^^

Rules:
1. Leave a comment saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I'll reply and give you five questions to answer.
3. You'll update your LJ with the five questions answered.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed. And it just keeps going, and going, and going.

...*G* Interesting idea to restart. I'm curious as to what you'd ask!

1. You've talked about how much you like skiing, but what exactly is your favorite part? The speed, the exercise, the being outside?

2. Have you ever wanted to learn, or learned, an instrument besides the piano?

3. You're stuck in an airport overnight, waiting for a flight that doesn't leave until 10:00 the next morning. There are three people with you, who are they and what is that you do to keep yourselves entertained all night?

4. I want to plan the perfect day for you. What do we do, where do we go?

5. ...does the fourth opening theme for FMA make your heart hurt too? (ssshh.... Just because I'm a wibbly mess.. >_<)

1. If I had to say one thing... it'd be the way the air feels when you're breathing hard at fifty miles an hour, how you can't get enough and not because of the lack of oxygen. It makes your lungs burn to match your legs, and it feels like the sun on the back of your neck. That's the biggest rush.

2. I played clarinet in the band in middle school, then stopped to take art courses. Bunny's dad tried to teach me guitar once (my hands are a bit too small) and I tried to teach myself... with no luck. Everybody can play the recorder, and I am everybody. Oddly, I'm not a bad hand at the ukelele. I want to learn the guitar better, and the drums.

3. Obviously, it's Bunny, Nate, and Zeus. Just because if you were there, we'd shut out the other two, whoever they happened to be. And all night we'd snark on stuff, make up inside jokes, talk and talk and talk, and find shit to play with in the airport. If they hadn't shut down one of the tourist shops, we'd hang out in there, or in the food court, or just run RAMPANT through whatever part of the airport is open. Walking backwards on the moving sidewalks, doing jumps off the escalators, all of that.
Of course, if it were you, Bunny, and Zeus, that might get interesting as well. HEH.

4. *sigh* Home. Don't ask me that question while I'm away. I think we should sleep in, then go back to Julian, and eat pie and burgers at the -good- diner, and dig around in the candy vault, and then drive back home and take a nap in front of the tv and order takeout or something so you don't have to do the dishes at all, all day, and then bed. Really, that's what I want.

5. *sob* Yes. Wah.

1. Favorite book of all time and the song that matches it most perfectly.

2. We all have movies or tv shows we quote all the time. Which one do you quote most often?

3. I've got this thing for sleeping on the sofa in the middle of the afternoon, where's your favorite place to take a nap?

4. There's a small wooden door beneath the stairs. Do you open it to find out what's inside?

5. What's your favorite thing to cook? To have someone else cook for you?

1. favorite book of all time? wow, that's tough. but right now it will have to be high fidelity, and since there are too many songs involved in that book, i think i'll pick myself another song to go with it: something beautiful by robbie williams. [don't ask me why, to me they just perfectly go together.]

2. movies / tv shows i quote all the time? meh, i don't watch much tv any more; movies? 'i have a bad feeling about this' because i'm old school: star wars 4-6 are TEH PWN.

3. nap: on my partner. usually either his shoulder or his chest. he may think he's bony, but he makes a damn fine pillow ;)

4. a small wooden door beneath the stairs - opens - yo, harry! wanna cuppa tea? got snackies too, might have some chocolate cake in the ref, have a bite!

5. beef curry is my best dish; my partner's best dish is his recipe for herbed lamb chops. [mmm, lamb.]

1. Say I'm gonna buy you a dvd, what's the number one at the top of your list right this minute?

2. Lookin' at your icon I have to say... you and Luffy have a lot in common. What all do you think that is?

3. Favorite anime character ever. Ever.

4. I'm having a dance party and need you to bring a mix cd. Who's on it?

5. One of the girls at work actually has the "Country's Go Heart" cd at her desk. If you were gonna order anything, music or otherwise, off of an infomercial, what would it be?

Whoo! I'll post these on my own LJ when I've finished answering. You picked some tough ones...tsk.

1. NUMBER ONE DVD! Grey's Anatomy. Season one. ^______^

2. Um...I'm guessing you're asking why I'm like Luffy...or how...
I'm energetic! I like food. Nyum. I have my goals in life, and I won't let anything get in the way of those. Not now. Not Ever. Gr. I had a really hot pirate save my life when I was little. I act happy and sometimes amiably dumb so that people feel a little bit more at ease around me. But when it really matters, I can put on my serious face too.

3. I hate you.
Grnnagh...why do all the ones I like the most wind up dying?Maes Hughes, Gren, Nagisa Kaoru, Haku, Nuriko, Hotohori...Can I answer this one later? Oh, fine. Favorite anime character ever would have to be...Roronoa Zoro... There, I said it! And it's so not for shallow reasons. The man is one of the most awesome characters ever, when you think about it! Other than Roy Mustang, that is... *hides away*

4. Dude, only the best. Great Big Sea, Aqualung, Dar Williams (slow dancing is fun, and she's got her fast tunes too), Teddy Thompson, Rufus Wainwright, Green Day, Gorillaz, and then throw in a little old school Backstreet Boys (yes, they can be old school, since they first got big in '97. That's almost ten years ago!), Kelly Clarkson, and Ricky Martin for some pop lovin' spice.

5. Wow. I would have to go with the egg scooper. You can scoop eggs and pancakes up without them falling apart in the pan! It's so awesome. I just can't remember the name... ^_^

*so late!* *hides*

1. Someone says to you, "This the perfect temperature" only, it's really like four degrees out. What constitutes your perfect climate?

2. I've got wicked hiccups, help me make them go away!

3. We just stuck a pin on a map of the world, what random place are you headed now?

4. How'd you meet that wacky husband of yours?

5. For the rest of your life you have to have an animal companion who goes everywhere with you and talks to you and generally makes for the Disneyesque, what kind do you hope it is?

*speaking of late...eep*

1. My perfect climate really depends on the season and where I am. In summer, I like to be on the beach in St. John, where the water is 83 degrees, the air is a little warmer, but moderated by the breezes and the pina coladas are nice and cold. In winter, I like two feet of snow in the foothills for the front range, sunny and in the thirties. Spring, I like rainy days in the forested countryside near Landstuhl, or mornings in the forties when the breeze is just warm enough to suggest that winter is over... But really I guess my favorite may be autumn, mid seventies, but crisp and cold in the shadier places. I like autumn all over the world. =)

2. Um... Nii/Ed! because if that pairing idea doesn't scare those hiccups out of you, nothing will. *laughs*

3. Well, I just got back from New Mexico *goes to actually stick a pin in a map* Um, Lhasa, China?? Eep. That looks pretty remote, actually. I think maybe I'll stick with the other plan, which was going to the Carlsbad Cavern's this summer...

4. *laughs* A very strange story, that. He was a freshman when I was a sophomore and one of my friends wanted to date him, but she wanted him to be a bit more romantic and suave for her. So she asked me to teach him things like massage, the language of flowers, and a bit of cooking the better to seduce her. In the course of all that, I got to know him, and we got to be friends. Well, and my friend got one hell of a boyfriend. But that's where the story get's really complicated, so we'll leave it there. ;)

5. I hope it's a tiny little winged hamster - you know: self-mobile, tough, and small enough to hide in a pocket if need be.
