Feeling strangely fine... *
Have been a monumentally huge slacker about posting lately, so everyone gets a list.
Good
-Two new bras (one in black lace, the other with weird dangly, sparkly bits that amuse to no end. XD).
-New shoes (brown leather Doc Martin oxfords. Woot.).
-A job interview tomorrow and the possibility of a temp job for Monday.
-Getting to see the girl nearly every day for the past week and a bit (...I'm getting so spoiled).
-A new book by E.L. Konginsburg in paperback (The Outcasts of 19 Schuyler Place).
-Louis Sachar has a sequel to Holes out, Small Steps, and I got that too.
-There was also the acquiring of Batman Begins and Memphis Belle, both on dvd.
-Free upgrade on my cell phone (there are many new bells and whistles to figure out, including the fact that my ring-tone is now the Law and Order them. *win!*).
-Most amusingly though, there was was the Pirates of the Caribbean breakfast cereal, with crunchy chocolate black pearls and marshmallow pirate maps, doubloons, cutlasses, pirate ships and, most importantly, three cornered hats.
Bad
-Still no job. Had a second interview for one on Weds of last week, but it was a total wash.
-Diego bit the big one last night. I type this from my roommate's comp, Gus. (Hi PT, thanks!) He'll be going in for repairs -- logic board replacement -- today and hopefully I'll get him back by the middle-end of next week.
Ugly
-Rana made me (held me down and everything. XP) watch Tactics last night. Oooohhh....the shiny. She also fed me really good catfish, but that's totally beside the point. *shakes fist*
-With Diego out of commission I've been hit with the writing urge but BAD and so I will now be forced to resort to actual pen and paper. Oh, the humanity. Oh! But that does mean I get to use my moleskine, so that's sweet. Woot!
-I'm going to a job fair up at UCSD and to visit the Girl, but don't want to deal with parking, so.... Yay! for the bus. I figure, as long as I've got a book and headphones I'll make it. Heh. As long as I don't miss my stop.
Christmas gift certificates make for the excellent. Well, except for the cereal. I bought that myself. But like I could say now to a giant Jack Sparrow head staring me down in the grocery store. The Diego bit means that I really won't be around online at all. I'll do what I can to check email, but otherwise just plan on my coming back... I don't know. By the end of the month, I hope.
In the mean time, I shower, dig out my resume and hit the road. Ooooh... new phone means new ninja for phone. Shiny Happy Fun Day, here I come!

The best part though, has to be the fact that there's "guess who said this quote" type trivia on the box and when it's a cereal that has actual mashmallow pirate hats you just can't go wrong. HEH.
