Got a call at 4:15ish today from the temp agency. As of today I'm unemployed again.

On the upside I suddenly have lots of free time, the agency thinks that they'll be able to find me something eventually, and I've already paid this month's rent.

Things to do as of tomorrow:
Sleep in. (Wooot.)
Clean out the car.
Take down Christmas tree.
Vacuum apt.
Fold and put away clean laundry.
Wash dirty laundry.
...Look for a new job.


Then again, I now have time go and see the girl for lunch tomorrow, so, at least there's that. That and I'm going to make cookies tonight. Rawr.

Heh. It sounds all melodramatic, or well it did last night, but today I'm feeling rather terribly okay with it.

The one hard part was this morning as I was just waking up when my half-asleep brain started going over the things I hadn't finished in the office yesterday and the help I know my assistant needed and... Heh. Woke up the rest of the way when I realized that was all rather moot now.

*grin* Though, peanut butter cookies just make life better all the way around. Mmm, cookies. ^^

I'm sorry to hear about the unemployment. Good for you taking care of yourself with cookies and sleeping and time with the girl, though. I hope this becomes an opportunity for a better and more stable job.

Cookies were actually put off until this morning, but they're almost all done, and of course the first batch had to be tested for quality, so this morning is looking pretty good. Just need to shower and then head out for lunch.

*grins* Though, hearing from all of you guys makes everything just a little bit easier to keep in perspective.
