My dad has gone back to school this past year. Currently he's doing his finals stuff, one of which was a project for his Spanish class. The assignment was to redo the text book how they would if they wrote the book. Dad was given Chapter 1 and decided that the highlight of his presentation would be a worksheet for counting and the alphabet.

I. Si, la conozco. Es Yolanda, una bailarina exotica en un club de adultos. Esta estudiando espanol. Quiere ser profesora de espanol. Ven y te la presento.

C. Me _______ Cosme. Itandehui me dice que te gusta bailar.
Y. No me gusta mucho, es mi trabajo para ganar dinero. Lo que quiero hacer mas es repetir las letras y contar los numeros en espanol.
C. Que interesante. Puedes hacer lo ahora?
Y. Como no? A, Be (grande), Ce, De, __, ___,___, ___, I, ___, ___, ___, eLLe,___, ___. O, ___, ___, ___, ___, eSe, ___, ___, __(chica), ___, ___, Y (i griega), ___.
C. Que bueno! Y los numeros, los sabes hasta cuarenta?
Y. Si, los se, y puedo contar de cinco en cinco. Escucha. Cinco, diez, ,______, _________, _______, ________. y ________.
C. Fantastico! Me gustaria ir al club de adultos a ver si puedes bailar tan bien como sabes las letras y los numeros.
Y. Voy a bailar a las ocho . Ven a verme.

I understood more of that than I expected, though it helps that I know the story. *G* And it should amuse you to know my brain hooked this up with Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and watching BBC America last night didn't help. I've now got Yolanda in my head rapping, "Pattycake! Pattycake! Baker's man!"
