Heh. I got myself interviewed by
wordsofastory.
1. If you were a famous, amazingly talented singer with your own platinum-selling band, what song would you do a cover of?
...mmm...quite possibly something like Christina Aguillera's Beatuiful. Heh. Yeah, I know, I know, but it's totally one of those guilty pleasure songs. I can just see it makin' an awesome rock/emo kinda thing. Besides, most of the other songs I really love, are really loved because of how they're already done.
2. What way do you least want to die?
I can think of at least three people who'll laugh when they see this, but I'd want just about anything besides being burned alive. I love fire and all things related, but in terms of really terrible, painful ways to die, that's it. Though, really, it's less about the burning and more about the being awake and aware of it all. Most death is worse if you have to feel all of it.
3. If you had more money than you could ever need, what would you buy first?
I'd give my parents enough money to redo their house. Paint and carpet and to fix the bathroom. Good grief, my mother would be able to die happy. Then, I'd probably go out and buy myself a new car. One that runs without your having to wiggle wires under the hood to get it going. *facepalm* It'd so be a '69 VW square-back. Restored, with fancy new engine and painted dark blue. ...And I'd name him Roy. XD ...oohh... and an iPod. Totally an iPod.
4. If reincarnation is real, what one memory from this life would you like to keep?
The way that if feels to dive into the ocean, the knowledge that you can swim for hours and that there's nothing to be scared of. How alive it feels to be surrounded and supported and at the same time able to move in any direction. I'd want to remember Puerto.
5. If you wrote your memoirs, what would the title be?
Because my father would think it was hysterical, I'd have to call it Hybrid Vigor.
We've never really been big on being PC in my family, and so the fact that my sister and I are biracial has long been both a source of amusement and drama. My tall skinny white dad has had to justify his little Mexican wife and kids far too many times for it to be entirely light hearted, but since humour is the best way to reclaim something... Dad always used to say that the reason nothing ever got Bear or me down for long was because we had, "hybrid vigor." Heh. And then my mom says it's because she gave use the good genes. ^__^
Rules:
1. Leave a comment saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I'll reply and give you five questions to answer.
3. You'll update your LJ with the five questions answered.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed. And it just keeps going, and going, and going.
