Living in Cali does have its advantages, it's true. But you're right, it's something we all need to step up and take a look at. It's so easy to look at the state I live in and think, "Hey, it won't get that bad here, so why should I worry?" But we can't do that. Just because it won't happen in CA right away doesn't mean that it -- "it" being all those things we fear, that loss of all the civil liberties we value -- can't.
