I seem to have been born at exactly the wrong time to be a liberal female. A straight liberal female, but it's still bad enough. I envy you living in CA -- I lived there briefly with my parents, but we couldn't take the climate. Now we're back home in deep-South Mississippi, Bible Belt area and everything, and I'm not only being smothered by my government, I'm also being smothered by all the people around me clamoring to agree with it.
I don't really have anything to add to the apocalypse statement here; I mean, what else can be said except 'hell no'? Just wanted to give a show of solidarity and tell you that I love reading your LJ, it makes me smile. ^_^. Also makes me want to steal your mood theme *ahem* -rave
