1. The pairing you first fell in love with:
Seth and Ryan. The O.C. may be on of the dumbest shows out there, but it’s also one of the most HoYay-tastic ones too. After that, it was probably Bobby/just about anyone, though Remy stays up near the top of the list.
2. The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Hakkai/Gojyo. I know, I know! I so should have seen it coming. I saw the anime first so I was so sold on Hakkai/Sanzo (still am for the most part) that it wasn’t until I really started to read the manga that 58 came out and beat me over the head with its goodness. It’s such a warm attraction that the urge to write it is incredibly hard to fight.
3. The pairing everyone else loves that you don't:
I’d have to go with Remy/Rogue. Look, I know it’s canon. I know that for some unknown reason the X-scribes keep throwing them together, over and over again, but you know what? It doesn’t. Work. How many times have they tried? Six? Ten? A hundred? And it never works out. Want to know why? Because they are bad for each other. *sighs* Seriously, Remy brings out the worst in Rogue and all she has ever done is abuse him, feeding into that inherent sense of self-hate the poor boy already possesses. He’s only 26 and he’s already been abandoned by his family twice (three times if you count the X-men themselves), lost his powers twice, been blinded, and then left in Antarctica (Antarctica!) by the supposed love of his life. I just have trouble believing this is in any way a healthy relationship.
4. The pairing you love that everyone else hates:
I have a strange affinity for Hwan/Yaone, and while I don’t know that people actively hate it, I know it’s something of a crack-pairing. Hell, practically any femslash in Saiyuki is going to qualify as crack.
5. The pairing you used to love but don't any longer:
I used to dig Bobby/Rogue in the X-movieverse, but since them hatred for comic!Rogue has seeped over and tainted whatever previous love I may have held for movie!Rogue.
