So I tend to over-flour my cherry pies, but that's because I like less runny filling and more, um, goo. My mom always asks the same thing, and wants to know how it is that I get the cherries to get so fat. I've taken to just telling her it's how I pit them, and show her stained hands and she always decides to go back to using canned stuff. Heh!
