You make an excellent point. It's a truth that all of us face as writers. Of course our experiences colour the way we look at things and the way we tell our stories. And it's not to say that this emphasis on the difficulties of race isn't' perfectly valid. It is. Oh God is it valid, because there are still places in this country where two people of different races coming together is the main problem they'd face. The thing is, when society makes this aspect of the only thing that people of colour are allowed tell stories about that it really becomes a problem.

HEH. That's right. This is secretly my sly way of admitting my family's real cross-cultural issue is based around the fact that my dad's a muggle and my mom... Well, you met her. XD
