Wow, um. Well. The way you wrote Roy, especially in DV and subsequent RPs, was... how I got to know you. Your knowledge of his hero complex, his repressions, and how he sees Ed say a lot about you, and it shows.
You don't ever NOT plot - which means you're aware of consequences. You love the boys in blue - war gets you, because you relate to the soldiers and not the conflict itself. You like determination and strength of belief and foolhardiness for the sake of those you love.
Sometimes your writing sounds old, and at others, extremely young. There's a depth of emotion you can get out that is absolutely stunning, compelling, complex.
I think it's less about the way the characters act, and more about how you write about their actions. Because you also believe in keeping things in-character. Go you.
